Restructured and improved the design of the Treasury Web Site creating a professional appearance. Create and maintain Automated Data Processing systems which collect information and automatically perform data sorting and distribution. Developed a "mailto" option providing the public a way to send messages to the client. Responsible for maintenance and modification of cgi-bin scripts in perl. Responsible for maintenance and configuration of WebStats, StatBot and GetStats Web Statistics programs. Responsible for periodic backups of the Treasury Web Site. Responsible for configuration and maintenance of the Swish Search Engine used on the Treasury Web Site. Responsible for ftp server running on Windows/NT platform. Responsible for quality assurance of all Treasury Web content and file security in a UNIX environment. Created an Internet page entitled "Guidelines for Submitting HTML or Text for U.S. Department of the Treasury Web Pages" to improve quality and provide a consistent appearance of the web site. Defined and implemented an awk program eliminating the need to spend hours manually searching for files when only minimal information is provided. Championed the government procurement of HOTDOG PRO for use by the WebMaster. Coordinated and implemented a tape backup system.
