In addition, served on many design teams to develop enhancements to current applications or design new applications. This includes meeting with users to gather requirements, analyzing the current system and data, designing and developing a prototype for acceptance by the client, and documenting the life cycle of the project. Other responsibilities involved establishing documentation standards for technical writ6ers, researching Capability Maturity Model (CMM) requirements for future implementation, and assisting the project manager of a large programming/analysis team with deliverables tracking and reporting requirements.

As project manager of the RADIAC Policies and Procedures contract, responsibilities included managing the contract, supervising the administrative and technical staff, and tracking labor hours and dollars expended. Responsible for writing and updating policies and procedures manuals for the Naval Sea Systems Command's RADIAC division. Planned, coordinated, and documented management conferences which were conducted in various locations within the United States. Managed the RADIAC division's document imaging effort, eliminating vast amounts of paperwork, and acted as the LAN administrator in setting up the client's Novell network.

As a training analyst for ICT, was co-author and training analyst for the U.S. Coast Guard's Allowance Documents Use and Maintenance training course. Performed research by traveling to field offices and interviewing technicians and storekeepers, and analyzed the data gathered to determine course content. Upon implementation of the course, acted as a course evaluator, attending sessions to ensure the course's effectiveness over time. During this time, also acted as editor for the FAA's Low Level Windshear Alert System technical manuals which was successful in obtaining additional business for the company.
