Welcome to Jacobes House.

We were lucky this year,  we had an empty warehouse to start with.
We had 7000 sq. ft to start with so the sky was the limit.  We
don't have many pictures, but what we do have we have
posted here.

Here is what we started with.

The 6 center pylons made great dividing points. It also helped the power situation by giving us a place
to mount the power strips and lights.

From there the walls went up pretty Easily.

Here is a list of the walk through rooms we had.
Complete with what scare there was.

Entrance
Here we set up the outside of the mortuary.
The entrance was set up with camo netting in the ceiling, and strobes
for use as lightning.
A thunderstorm soundtrack played in the back.

Parlor
Here was the parlor where the funerals were held.
A coffin jumper was installed in the coffin as the customers walked
by, he went off.

Embalming room
Here Jacobe embalmed the bodies of his victims.
And look there is one now, is she still alive?

Coffin Storage room
Here is where Jacobe stored his coffins, tools and materials
for more coffins.  4 exits are there, only one is the way out.
Ghouls are hiding behind the other 3.

Jacobes kitchen, dining room and Rest room.

Here you can see the remnants of Jacobes life.
His food and feasts of the dead.
Some say you can still see Jacobe roaming
the halls.
( This was the best effect we had. Just one person
dressed as Jacobe roaming the halls of his house.
Saying nothing, seeing nothing, doing nothing.
Its a great intimidation factor, I suggest you try it.)

Hallway of the Damned
Here is the long hallway that leads to the
lower levels of Jacobes house. You can still hear
the screams from the damned.
Here we just used a simple screaming hallway effect.

Cave of the damned
Here the remaining living souls (or undead?)
of Jacobes experiments are left to roam
free.  Beware for they might have you for dinner.

Hell hound pit
Here was my second favorite room.

3 Cages set inside house the most dangerous of all
pets, the hounds from hell.
The two on the outside appear to still be alive,
but the center cage is broken? Where's the 3rd?
Here use Oscillating fans under masks for the
hounds. Playing a snarling dog loop track
for sounds makes it scarier.

The living Wall
Here the walls seem to be alive, what remaining
body parts are trying to grasp their only link to life.

The maze
A simple maze, kept completely black kept them in suspense.

The storage room
Here  Jacobe kept the supplies he used for embalming and other things.

The Cemetery sighn
Here we emerge again to the outdoors.
A large crypt marks the entrance to the cemetery
with a spooky sign pointing the way.

The Cemetery
Here we have the cemetery outside the funeral home.
All the tombstones, entrance collumn. and even a flying ghost hovering
above her fresh grave.
Using a F.C.G. here was fun. Running the connections across the ceiling
we had a puppet style control to add more realism.

(Sorry its blury)

The cornfield
Here you can see the cornfields of the surrounding
areas.  Walking the path through the cornfield watch out
for the scarecrows.
