Norvell SHAGGY Rogers Voice: Casey Kasem Shaggy is probably best known for his dazed and confused appearance and characteristics. A lanky, shaggy, and sloppily dressed teen with an insatiable appetite to match Scooby Doo. He also cowers at the sound of his own squeaking shoes and the sight of a villain. Always hungry, he would rather dive into a banquet of food than a new case. He sports a soup spoon in his rear pocket as a symbol of his continuing appetite for food, and often finds himself competing with Scooby for any available cuisine. Reluctant to begin any mystery, Shaggy somehow manages to help his fellow sleuths in the solving of an investigation. Shaggy is also an amateur ventriloquist, and is known for throwing his voice and confusing the villain. Shaggy is Scooby's best friend. They are inseparable.
