Realm Battle Rules

Rules of the Realm

Masters are mortal too -- they can be DMed, AAed, SMed, KAed, etc.

Battles: Death Matches (DMs) and Spars

1) Someone starts a log, the person not logging is to keep score.

2) Fighters will state statistics and modifying weapons/armor/helments/shields/items.

3) Both fighters will roll an initial roll to find out who goes first. Roll 1d20, highest number goes first.

4) The person who attacks first will make their attack action and then roll their Attack Dice (AD).

5) The person being attacked will then roll their BD.

6)
a)If the AD is higher than the BD, then the attack is successful, and the person hit will make an action that shows they were hit. To figure out the damage done, subtract the BD from the AD, and the person keeping score will state everyone's HP.
b)If the BD is higher than the AD, then the person attacked will make an action showing they dodged it, and the process is repeated with the person who was attacked now attacking.
c)If the AD and BD are the same number, then its counted as a miss.

7)After one person is out of HP, the fight is over. If its a DM, the winner is to dispose of the body of the loser properly, whether it be taking it to the "TER Bone Yard" or giving it to a family member of the loser for burial.

8) End the log and send it to DrakeRCE2 with the subject line stating whether it was a spar or DM. If it was a DM, put in who died and who survived. If it was a spar, then state who vs. who and how many each person won and lost.

Spells

1) You get a use of a new spell per level, and 2 for some levels, and none for some levels. Spells will be assigned as your levels increase.

2) When you use a spell, it counts as one attack.

3) When in battle of any type, you can only use a spell Once per battle (except Healing Spells -- they can be used once every three turns). After using it Once, you can not use it again for the rest of the battle.

Spell Use

1) Make an action for the spell, state the spell you are using, and roll the spells dice. Example:

DrakeRCE: ::A blue light glows in his hands, and chuncks of ice start shooting at Vivid::

DrakeRCE: >>Ice Spray<<

(then Type in //roll-Dice[Number of Dice]-Sides[Number of sides on the dice])

OnlineHost: DrakeRCE rolled 1 50-sided die: 39
2) The person being attacked by the spell can do 1 of 2 things: cast another spell that will absorb/reflect/dispell the spell or they can roll a dodge dice. The dodge dice is 1d10, 8 or higher and the spell misses, 7 or lower, and it hits, the damage being the number that was rolled.

Assassination Attempts (AA)

1) Send an E-mail to DrakeRCE2 with the person who you want AAed, what they did, and a log of what happened (if you dont have a log, you must have 2 witnesses as to what happened, and everyone better have the same story).

2) Either
A) the AA will be declined because it was not considered to be bad enough to kill someone over, or
B) it will be approved, and you will be given an E-mail saying that it was approved.

3) If the AA was approved, then you are to meet with an assassin through IM's, and agree on what you will pay him/her for doing the AA. A log of the agreement on payment (whether it be GP or a personal posession) is to be sent to DrakeRCE2. The assassin does NOT have to accept the AA, so you better make the payment good. The assassin will be paid before he/she does the AA (reason behind this, is because the assassin takes a chance on losing his/her life doing the AA, and might as well get a chance for the gold/personal item before they do it). From that point on, you are to wait to hear from the assassin about the AA.

To the Person being AA'ed And How to Do an AA

1) You will be stalked by the assassin for 30 mun minutes. You will not know there is an AA warrant out for your death (or at least, you shouldn't know).

2) After the 30 mins are up, the assassin will IM you saying that you're being AAed and you are to roll a visual roll. The visual roll is to tell what is going to happen in the AA. Visual Roll is 1d20, 15 or higher and you see the assassin. If you see the assassin, you have the choice to run, or DM the assassin.

3)If the assassin is not seen because you rolled 14 or lower, then the assassin will make their attack action, and Roll 1d30, 15 or higher and the AA is successful, and you are dead.

4)If the assassin roll 14 or lower, then the person the was attempted to be AA'ed has to DM the assassin, as a final way for the assassin to kill the person.

5) You are not allowed to have a team gang up against the assassin (even after the AA is over) -- assassins fight 1 on 1 only. After the AA is over, forget about the assassin, and try to figure out who it was that tried to get you AAed. THAT is the person you will go after.

Kidnap Attempts (KA)

You cannot KA someone who is a higher level than you. It's along the same lines as if in real life a 10 year old tries to kidnap a 25 year old. It just isn't going to happen. Also, a person KAed is NOT a slave, so they cannot be treated as one. You cannot make them do anything.

1)E-mail DrakeRCE2 with the name of the person you are kidnapping, their screen name, and the reason behind wanting to kidnap the person. KA's MUST be logged.

2)If approved, wait for the person to go into a TER room. Once the person is in the room, you can kidnap them.

3) In the room, tell the person OOC that they are the target of a KA. You will then roll a 1d20, 15 or higher, and you grab the person and start to run out of the room with them.

4) The person being KAed will then roll a get-away dice of 1d20. 10 or higher, and they pull out of the kidnapper's arms and are free to A) Run away and have the kidnapper AAed/KAed later, if they wish, or B) DM/SM you.

5)If the KA is successful, then the person is kidnapped until a release match is held and won, the person is KAed by another person and set free, the kidnapper is killed, or until the kidnapper releases them. If you are KAed and its successful, you are under that person's control, and are not contactable IC by ANYONE, other than the kidnapper.

6) Send the log to DrakeRCE2.

Slave Match (SM)

A Slave can not be made to do things that put their life in danger, and if the character is younger than 18, they can not be made to do sexual acts. A person is a slave, only when they are RPing. If they are not RPing, you can not make them do anything. The character is a slave, not the Mun. EVERYTHING must be logged.

1) The 2 people agree to have a slave match. If one does not agree, than they can run.

2) The 2 people agree on a set amount of AD, BD, HP, and one spell to use from any level. Also, The Person Must Determin How long the Loser of the SM will be the Other's Slave.Must Be Formatted in this Form:
A)Mun Days Person will be a Slave:
B)Amount of Mun Hours of RPing Will be consitered one Day (No More than 5, No less than 1):
C)Anything the Slave Will NOT do:
The 2 people have unlimited spells. Slave matches are luck only. Dice and HP can not be bigger than the lowest ranking person's.

3) After dice, spell, and HP are agreed upon, the 2 people will then battle the SM like it was a DM, except using the agreed dice. The winner of the SM gets the other as a slave. Mail the log to DrakeRCE2.

4)Person Must Meet Time Requirements Before they are Released as a Slave. You Do not Have to RP as a Slave Every Mun Day to Meet Requirement. If you RP as a Slave for a Day At all, And do not Meet the Requirement, Then it is not Counted as a Full day, and will not be marked off the Slave Time Agreement. The time,Date, and Which day of Being a Slave you are RPing on must be stated at the beginning and end of each log. The Time can be spread through out the day. At the end of each day, E-mail the log to DrakeRCE2. If your Smart, Both the Slave and Master will Send in a Log to Avoid Editing by one of the Two Party's.

5) The slave can also be KAed away from their master to be released, or held for other reasons, (Cannot be KAed from their Master to hold as a Slave) but the master must be present. The slave can also RM their master at any time they wish to be released, but if they lose the RM, another day is added to the time they have to be a slave.

Release Match (RM)

1) Start a log and log everything. Send the log to DrakeRCE2 after everything is finished.

2) Challenge your master/kidnapper to a RM. They MUST accept the RM.

3) Fight the RM as if it was a DM. If successful, the person is released, if not, the master/kidnapper can then DM you, or (for slaves only) hold you for 1 extra day.

Random Attacks (RA)

Random Attacks are attacks that are made outside of spars, DMs, etc. These are things like knocking someone out cold, if someone's in a tree, you can cut the limb to knock them out of the tree, etc etc.
What you would do is act out what you want to do. (i.e. ::Hits Morgan on the top of his head with the handle of his sword and knocks him out::) You can do this with anything you would like.
After you do that, you will roll a 1d20, you have to hit 15 or higher for it to work. You can only do a random attack 3 times a day.
If you're going to do something, and dont want the person to know, then before the Attack is Made, Roll a 1d6. Even Number, and your unseen, Odd number and the Person sees you.If you knock someone out, they have to Wait one Mun Min Before they can wake up. THE PERSON CAN NOT BE KILLED OR ATTACKED WHILE KNOCKED OUT.When that min is up, they have 3 trys to Wake up. Each time, they will Roll a 1d20, 10 or higher and they wake up. If they dont Get the 10 or Higher, they have to Wait another Mun Min before they can Try again.Everything Else is just do the Roll, and its over with. You can not kill, Cut off Body Parts, Ect. With a Random Attack.
Now Doing these kinda thinks can Get you legally DMed if the Person sees you, So be careful.

Discipline

IC, there are no rules, everything is legal except for killing without a good cause. If you kill someone, you better have a reason that could make chinese courts thing twice before sentencing. Also, you have to have permission to have someone AAed.
OOC, something I hate to do is piss people off by having to do something to them because they did something wrong. Really, there are no written rules as of right now, but if people start causing alot of problems, then I will start making them QUICK. Use common sense people; if you think it might even remotly piss someone off OOC, then your probably right. These things are cussing at char muns, trying to kill a char because of mun problems, taking probs with a person from one char, and also making another char hate them, etc. Yanno, that kinda bull crap stuff. It irritates a lot of people, includeing me.

Discipline Actions

With discipline actions, under AOL TOS rules I can not say that you cannot come into TER AOL chat rooms because you do have the right as someone who pays for AOL, but I will let everyone know that you are suspended, and will ask them to ignore you until further said. Nothing can be forced, but I can ask people anything. Also, I am not required to acknowledge you as a TER member, me and Luna Amenti run this realm on our own wills, and have that right as it is OUR realm, and we are in charge of everything that happens in it.
Minor PullingIf you do something minor, a lot of times, something small will be pulled, or something will be temp pulled. A Few Spells, XP (not enough to lose levels), temp pull of HP or dice, or temp pull of a mod. When you lose a level temp, then you can not go back to the level you were on until pull time is done.
Major PullingThis is for the stuff that is more serious, but not considered bad enough for suspending. All spells, perm pull of a mod, or a pull of a level. If a level is perm pulled, it will usually be 2 levels. As soon as a level is pulled, you can start working on getting the levels back.
SuspensionsCan be from a min of a few hours, to a max of a few weeks. Suspensions from the realm are temp, and mean you are not allowed to RP in TER Rooms, or participate in any TER SL's or other actions during the time you're suspended. Person is allowed into the room OOC.
Char ExpulsionThese are for things that are more serious, but were done IC. Char expulsions are rare, but when they happen, a char is not allowed back into the realm, and neither is the screen name that the ahar was played on, unless special permission is given by DrakeRCE AND Luna Amenti.
Mun ExpulsionA mun expulsion is done when a mun has done something OOC, or has been warned several times about doing the same thing with their char. This means that the mun is not allowed back into the realm under any SN. If the mun dpes get back into the realm under another SN, when it is found, and it will be, they will be terminated as a char.

If Anything is Belived to be Consitered by Some as Being UnJust Punishment, Or To Harsh, a board of Review can be given. It can Also be given if an Extream Viotaion was Made.A Board of Review will be Given Upon the Request of 3 people. The Board will Contain Donovann and Strider(DrakeRCE and Sunspot Dragoon), 2 Light Masters, 2 Dark Masters, 1 Lower Level Non Master, and 1 Upper Level Non Master,And the Realm HP/HPS. The Person that is on the Board for the Punishment will Present their Story. 1 Opposeing Will Present their Story of what happened, and The Board will Decide on what the Punishment will be, or be Changed to.
