The Fanfiction Diner
Acceptance Guidelines
I want to make sure that the Fanfiction Diner is a top-quality place to come for all your fic cravings. So I've set up some easy-to-follow guidelines, and updated them last on November 3, 2002.
  1. Your story must be based on an anime series, OVA/OAV, or manga.
  2. All pairings are permitted, including heterosexual, shounen-ai/yaoi (boy and boy), and shoujo-ai/yuri (girl and girl).
  3. Please label your story as to what kind of pairing it is -- het, shounen-ai, or shoujo-ai.
  4. An appropriate rating must also be submitted, illegally using the MPAA ratings system -- G, PG, PG-13, R, or NC-17. I will be using the MPAA rating guidelines as a yardstick. For more information, visit Everything You Always Wanted To Know About The Movie Rating System. I do reserve the right to change a rating if necessary.
  5. Stories are reviewed prior to posting. I reserve the right to not post a story if it contains excessive mechanical or grammar errors. Stories are reviewed for mechanics, syntax, and continuity within the story ONLY. They are NOT reviewed for content. It's suggested that you have your story "beta read," or reviewed, before submitting it.
  6. My decision to not post a story is not a personal one, and therefore rulings are not final. If you revise your story and re-send it, I will review it again and make a new decision.
  7. You must provide an e-mail address/website for feedback on your story.
