Alot of people do things that they enjoy and it provides a high for them, such a runner gets a runners high, it is my high to step in front of the audience or the camera. I believe that no matter the role, a performer should be able to tap into their inner emotions and find a similarity between himself/herself and the character.
When I write my poetry I return back to spiritual values and emotions. It may be politics, love, devotional or it may be me getting things off my chest. The main focus us my poetry is to uplift spirits, spread knowledge and to touch your inner soul. I live my life so others may be inspired through my words and my performances, hopefully at the end of the day what they saw or heard changed their life.
