Eight Scouts received their First Class Rank at the Fall, 1997 Court of Honor. They also received a plaque to commemorate this mile stone in their Scouting Career.

Five members of the troop were honored for their participation in the 1997 national Jamboree in Washington, D. C.

The Court of Honor ended with a Scoutmaster's Minute. Cake and punch were enjoyed by all.
