The Scouting Program is successful for many reasons, not the least of which is the support of sponsors. Troop 1's sponsor - or charter partner - is the First Christian Church of Huntington Beach. Located only a few blocks away from the Scout Cabin, First Christian has provided us with facilities for Courts of Honors, Eagle Presentations, and Dinners. Downtown Huntington Beach Host Lions Club

Every year in May, the HB Lions Club holds its annual pancake breakfast at Lake Park. Each year, Troop 1 sells tickets and works at the breakfast serving food and cleaning up. The Lions Club, in turn, has generously and has become a silent partner in Troop 1's program. Our sincerest thanks to all the great people of the Downtown Huntington Beach Host Lions Club.
