About Troop
322
Since 1971, the Primitive Methodist Church of Dickson City has chartered Troop 322. The church is located at the corner of Lincoln and Jackson Streets in the Borough of Dickson City, Pennsylvania. Troop 322 is part of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council of the Boy Scouts of America and is presently in the Appalachian District of this Council.
Troop 322 has a long and proud history within the Scouting movement. Our Troop believes in providing numerous activities aside from our weekly troop meetings and therefore, throughout the year, our Troop conducts hikes, weekend camping trips, field trips, and attends a full week of summer camp. In addition, each spring, our Troop conducts a traveling weekend camping trip to a location outside of our local Scout Council. Past trips have included weekends spent in Gettysburg, Valley Forge, the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania in Wellsboro and Fort Indiantown Gap.
As with most worthwhile things in life, what each Troop member gets out of Scouting depends on what he puts into Scouting, therefore we strongly encourage you to be active with the Troop.
