Calcasieu Area Council
Calcasieu Area Council is located in Southwest
Louisiana. It covers Cameron, Calcasieu, Beauregard, Vernon, and Jeff
Davis parishes. The council is headquartered in Lake Charles, LA. The council website is located at
www.calcasieubsa.org.
Camp Edgewood is located in Beauregard Parish,
Louisiana. The camp is the major BSA camp in the area and the the only
camp that has a Winter Camp program in the area. The camp holds the
annual summer camp usually in the month of June. The summer camp lasts
for a week with two or three camp cycles..
