ILLINI JAMBOREE!

Friday, Sept. 11 - Sunday, Sept. 13


Everyone needs to be at the City Building by 5:15 p.m. for a 5:30 departure. Be sure to eat before we leave. Also you must have your signed Consent to Treat form and Troop travel permission slip.

This is a tentative schedule of activities at the Jamboree but should be close:

FRIDAY SCHEDULE:
Set up camp
All scouts get to check out the games, entertainment, and more
Snacks only provided at campsite Friday night  
All Scouts back to camp at a time to be determined by the leaders that evening

SATURDAY SCHEDULE:
Wake up and eat breakfast
Let everyone check out games, entertainment, and more
Meet back at camp to eat lunch
Get on buses to the stadium and check out Illini Streetfest
Watch Illinois beat IL State 6:00PM  (any other food and drink is on your own)
Back on the buses to return to Rantoul
Snacks will be available at camp upon return from game
All Scouts back to camp at a time to be determined by the leaders that evening

SUNDAY SCHEDULE:
Wake up and eat breakfast
Hang out and explore a couple of hours
Pack up, clean up area, and leave for Monticello by 10-11 a.m.

THINGS TO BRING:
All Scouts must wear a Scouting-related shirt or plain shirt around the camp
All Scouts must wear their full Class A uniforms (to be eligible for color guard) to and from Rantoul , as well as to the game on Saturday night
Mess kit -- plate, bowl, cup, utensils
Sleeping bag and pad, pillow and light blanket if weather turns cool.
Tent with buddy  
Other clothing according to weather
Toiletries - shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.
Flashlight or headlamp
Spending money ($15 - $20)
Sunscreen
Folding chair to use at camp                              
Bug Spray
Any required prescriptions or medications  

NO FOOD, DRINKS, or BACKPACKS allowed into Stadium. Leave at Camp!!!
