BSA Scoutmaster PatchScoutmaster's Minute

With the Holidays behind us, it time to charge forward into the new year. I know we have had some setbacks with the snow and it seems as if Mother Nature wants us to change our meeting night but our Troop will overcome and adapt to these challenges as well.

We have a busy schedule coming up with lots of activities planned for the Troop. I would like to remind all Scouts that the Outdoor Adventure is a huge part of Sc"*out"*ing. I would like to see some of the older scouts share their knowledge and skills with the younger Scouts.

Campouts are an excellent way to "show what you got". By the way, I am issuing a challenge to the Ventures: run your own sled at the Klondike and if you really have what it takes to win a few ribbons for the Troop.

I bet the 1st class path scouts do quite well.

See ya at the campfire.

Keep on Scouting,

Mr. Kelley
