Dear Skater,

The Tropical Blades Ice Skating Club (TBISC) was formed to promote figure skating in Singapore, as well as to maintain interest in figure skating, especially amongst adult skaters. We are registered with the Registry of Societies, and are also a member club of the Singapore Ice Skating Association (SISA). Such affiliation enables our members of to join SISA, and hence participate in all events, test sessions and competitions organised by SISA or its affiliate clubs.

As a club, we have organized activities like “Members’ Night”, “Evening of Skating With Us”, on-ice exhibitions, ice dancing sessions, and even a training seminar. Our members are kept informed of club activities, as well as other up-coming skating seminars and competitions through email. For beginning skaters who join the club, our current pool of experienced figure skaters will always be eager to help out.

Skaters of all levels are welcome to join us, and we will strive to make activities fun and enriching for all members. To partially offset the costs of organising our activities, there is a $10 entrance fee (for new members), as well as a $15 annual membership fee. To join, please fill in the membership form, and return it with payment. If you will join SISA through our club, please indicate on the form and enclose the appropriate fees. Membership term is from April through March of the following year.

As we are in the technology age, we will, as far as possible, disseminate information via e-mail. A mailing list has also been created for the purpose of interaction between our members. Please provide your e-mail address on the application form, and indicate if you would like to be added to the mailing list.
