The subs I have installed in my car are 8-inch Aura Sound woofers.  The model line is the RPM, not to be confused with the superior, but much more costly FORCE line.  I bought these woofers because I wanted an inexpensive, competition grade subwoofer.  I have not yet been disappointed.  Click here to view the Specs of the woofer.

I have two woofers installed in a sealed box, each having about .85 cubic feet of airspace, and the boxes filled with polyfill.  The subs have excellent low-end response, and are very quick, and accurate. I love the detail that smaller woofers produce. I built the box myself, and it fits snug in the trunk, and does not take up too much space, although I wish I could use my 60-40 split seats to carry my snowboard through them.  I am thinking of replacing the two woofers with one bigger one, but that is only a dream right now.  Click here for a close-up of the Sub

On the back of the box, I built an amp rack, to hold both of my amps, and my electronic crossover.  The whole system is wired using 4 gauge wire for maximum current flow.  I am thinking of buying a Capacitor, but right now, I am not sure that it is necessary.
