His Holiness the Dalai Lama VISITS AUSTIN, TEXAS

         
Tickets for the Tuesday, September 20, 2005 public talk by His Holiness
the Dalai Lama will be distributed at two locations in Austin, Texas
beginning Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 7:00 a.m.

Tickets for the general public will be available at the Frank Erwin
Special Events Center box office. There will be 4,750 tickets for the
general public at this location.

Tickets for University of Texas students, faculty and staff will be
available at the Texas Union Student Events Center box office. There will
be 9,500 tickets for the university community at this location. UT ID
will be required to obtain tickets.

Tickets are free and will be distributed on a first come, first served
basis. We will not be able to maintain a mailing list, mail out
tickets, reserve tickets, maintain a waiting list or distribute tickets in
blocks. The limit is two tickets per person.

All seating is festival seating. The number of tickets distributed will
equal the number of seats available, and no one will be admitted to the
public talk without a ticket.

Maps for both distribution locations will be added to this site at a
later date.
