As a private home Seller, you can put up a FOR SALE sign, place classified ads, and even advertise your home on the Internet. So what are you missing out on? There are many additional benefits to listing your home for sale with a Realtor.

- Valuable advice. As real estate professionals it is our job to offer an objective and educated opinion about the fair market value of your home. Your Realtor can assess your sense of urgency, and select an asking price that will be able to get maximum value under your circumstances. Your realtor can also advise you of ways to improve your home's saleability.
Exposure on MLS websites. Many Internet-savvy Buyers rely on the vast database of the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) websites at www.ottawarealestate.org and www.mls.ca to research homes for sale. With an MLS listing, your home won't be missed by the Buyers who make it a routine to check in regularly on both of these websites.
