When you are in love they say you've got to have a lot in common like way of thinking, hobbies and interests, way of life and so on. Well, realistically speaking this is not the case and besides it would be boring to have too much in common!
It is the differences that make a relationship fun and ever fresh. The following suggestions could help enrich your love-life:

~ Listen to them when they talk to you about something...actually listen, don't pretend to! There are some things you wouldn't find of much interest but may be very important to him/her. Remember, there will always be a time when you too will want to be heard!

~ Never pinpoint at them or criticize them in public. Everyone has a right to their opinions so if you feel strongly about a particular issue its only fair that their point of view be respected.

~ There is bound to be a difference in the way you would want to spend your time together. So you could adjust by taking turns in spending your time alternating between the way they want and the way you would want to.

~ Respect their individuality. Do not expect them to change their thinking, their way of life like say for example their dressing, their appearance to suit your liking and needs. You may unknowingly be trying to change the very things in a person that made you fall in love with them!

~ Give them some space. They cannot spend every second of their life with you! They want and need you to hold them...not squeeze the life out of them! Especially men...protective is the keyword not possessive!

~ Let them pursue their own hobbies and interests. Let them spend time with their friends without you having to be there always by their side. You don't have to do everything together!

~ Its great to have a few things in common but if you are expecting too many things and similarities then there is only one way to find your perfect partner...you need to be cloned!

There will be days when you have difference of opinions, fights and you feel like you don't like them but then always keep in mind that no matter what you still LOVE them!
