Big Diesel Run.
Listen to the big diesel run,
Down the highway so long,
With my sweetheart by my side,
Singing our happy song.
For the sights we see,
Riding down the highway so wide,
As we sing,
Oh what a sight.
Eighteen wheels, slapping against the pavement,
Skies of cloudy gray,
No matter the weather,
Together we are so gay.
In every town,
The people you meet,
Makes me so happy,
I make no sound.
For tomorrow is near,
As the days grow short,
I have no fear,
My thoughts I sit and sort.

The Long Lonely Road
Driving down the road so long,
Wanting you by my side,
My loneliness is oh so strong,
For you are my wife & my bride.
As the sun rises in the east,
And the moon in the west,
For tomorrow is a new,
I need to get some rest.
Hours pass by slowly,
With each mile I take,
It is you I'm thinking,
For heaven sake.
Wanting you near,
To hold on tight,
Loving you so,
The house in sight.
With the rain coming down,
Warm memories of you,
The windshield wiper slapping,
Fro and to.
As the engine roars,
With a mighty whine,
This western star is heading
To that wife of mine.
A few more miles,
Back to the house,
You will be sleeping,
Quiet as a mouse.

Big Wheels smilin.
Life on the road,
New friends we’ve made,
The worries behind us,
A new life we share.
Big wheels rollin,
As the days do go by,
The scenery so pretty,
The little towns I spy.
Laughter we seek,
In every mile we go,
The stories I hear,
Of young and old.
These times I love,
Each and every day,
Sitting high in my seat,
Of our big rig.

Fun on The open Road.
Seeing things,
I’ve never seen before,
Listening to the stories
Of the open road.
Your heart pumps,
Full of joy,
A feeling of freedom,
That’s my toy.
The rumble of
The diesel engines
Long hauls from
Coast to coast.

Life on the Road
Life on the road
At times it’s lonely and cold,
New things to see,
Strange people you meet.
Thoughts of way back home,
And the cooking and smells
That you miss so much.
The grand hotels,
In their majestic glow,
The country side,
As you do go.
The miles are long,
The friends are few,
As I drive,
Thinking of you.

Miles Between us
The miles between us are many,
The times we have together are few,
In good times and bad,
I will be loving you.The thought of you
We’ll always get through,
The love we shared, is so very special,
Expecially, when I ‘m with you.

Modern Day Cowboy
Modern day cowboy,
With the songs of the open road,
The sun beating down the green,
In the land of texas gold.
The stories you hear,
Along the way,
The modern day cowboy,
Are the kings & queens of today.
As the diesel engines roar,
With skies of blue,
This modern day cowboy,
Always will smile at you.
The drivers of today and tomorrow,
From near and far,
Rolling this lonely highway,
Thinking of friends and family back home.

Spread your wings.
Spread your wings as you do fly,
Cover the world across the sky,
The songs of joy as you do sing,
So much happiness you do bring.
Gliding gracefully across the sky,
Stars and moon way up high,
Take watch or the land,
In the plains and the desert sand.
Spread your winds across the sky,
A glimmer of sunlight catches my eye,
Feel your love from the heavens above,
You bring us joy & a hope of love.
Spread your wings across the sky,
God has sent you from a high,
Sing praise to the words he does speak,
A gift of love that we do seek.

The CB life.
The stories you hear,
Are they true?
Are they real?
Or are they false?
The stories of drivers,
That you do hear,
Some may be rude,
Even though you lend an ear.
You offer your time,
You offer some help,
Some appreciate it and
Others oh well.
The handles you hear,
Of people you use to know,
Are they your friends,
Or are they your foe.
All is quiet,
On the home front tonight,
No trouble, no nastiness,
No rudeness in sight.
I sit and monitor,
That ole CB set,
Incase of anyone
Having an emergency or wreck.
I am the AngelStar,
Who wants to help,
For me I’m their guardian angel,
Guiding from the heavens above.

The truck driving man.
Early in the morning,
In the desert land,
I look around and see,
A truck driving man.
Leaving the mountains behind him,
With every mile he makes,
Suns rising in the sky,
And shines in his face.
The beauty that surrounds,
Like in a picture book,
With mountains all around,
The road he does look.
Loneliness he feels,
In this decollate land,
As the wheels roll on,
In the miles of the sand.

The Warmth of Love.
As the sunsets,
On a brisk spring day,
With skies of blue,
And clouds of amber gray.In my thoughts,
Of way back when,
All of the places,
That I have been. With the warmth,
Way deep inside,
The love for you,
I can not hide.Being with you,
Makes my life complete,
Its thoughts of you,
Makes my life so neat.Copyrights 1999 (C) All rights reserved

Highway of Angels
Let the Angels be at your side,
down the highways so long,
as to sing their praises of joy,
singing thier happy song.
To bring you joy,
in this land of ours,
to watch over you,
in all your days & hours.
Sing praise to the heavens,
for ye shall see,
or the land you go,
by your side she will always be,
in the rain, sleet and blinding
snow.
As the big engine roars,
she'll be at your side,
as the glorious eagles soars,
she will be your guide.
This is your heavenly Angel,
sent by God alone,
she will not call you names,
nor will she through you a stone.
