All-Purpose Salad Dressing

           3 Servings Ingredient
           2 Tbl           Wine
           1/4 Tsp       Dried Oregano
           2 Tbl           Vinegar
           1/4 Tsp       Dried Parsley
           1 Tbl           Dijon Mustard
           1                   Clove Garlic, Minced
           1/2 Cup      Olive Oil

                                             Preparation
 

In a small bowl whisk together wine, vinegar, and mustard until blended. Slowly pour in olive oil, whisking constantly. Whisk in oregano, parsley, and garlic. Use for a dressing on mixed greens.
 



 
 
 
 

Basil-Buttermilk Dressing



Yield: 8 Servings

           2 Cups Basil Leaves
           3/4 Tsp Salt
           3/4 Cup Buttermilk
           3/4 Cup Mayonnaise
           2 Tabasco
           1/2 Tsp Pepper
 

Blend basil, buttermilk, green onions and salt in a food processor until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and add mayonnaise and pepper. Whisk until smooth. Let stand 30 minutes and season with salt and pepper. (Can be made 8 hours ahead, cover tightly and refrigerate.)
