dc Talk www.dctalk.com
Even if their hasn't been a real dc Talk CD since '98, they're still one of the best bands that rocks with a little rap. They all went solo in 2001. They keep saying they're not breaking up for good, but you gotta wonder. On the other hand, if they ever do get back together, you can be sure it'll be awesome.

    Did You Know?...
dc Talk stands for "decent Christian talk." ---tobyMac has a little kid named Truet. You can hear Tru-dog "rapping" on Track #7 of toby's solo CD Momentum. --- The McKeehans also recently adopted twins, Marlee and Moses. --- Michael Tait is the only single member of dc Talk...he's still waiting for his "Godsend." --- The Jesus Freak tour CD was called "Welcome to the Freak Show," but if you want something really freaky, check out the boys' hairdos from the Free At Last album. --- Kevin likes to write poetry. --- tobyMac's song "Extreme Days" was used for a (Christian) movie of the same title. The soundtrack also featured Tait's "Loss 4 Words." --- dc Talk has paired up with Voice of the Martyrs twice now to publish books about people who stood up for Christ: Jesus Freaks and Jesus Freaks II. --- Despite their recent solo jaunts, dc Talk has recorded 4 (yes, that many) songs since Supernatural: "Chance" and "Sugarcoat It" on Intermission, "40 (Live)" on the Solo EP, and "Let's Roll," on a special disk paying tribute to 9/11, called Let's Roll. --- Kevin and his wife are no longer together. They regret to inform us...blah blah blah...just face it. It's divorce.

    Just For Fun...
Is it "Dc Talk," "DC Talk," "dc Talk," or "D.C. Talk"? How do you properly spell it? Well, there's no concrete answer. The CD covers have basically used all different capitalization forms possible, but "dc Talk" seems to be the one used most (especially on the latest CDs), and that's the way I've decided to spell it. But there's no correct way, and whether you spell it "dc Talk," "DC TALK," or "Dc tALk," I'm sure everyone will know who you're talking about.
