    Did You Know?...
    Jeff and Jody are from the States, but Duncan and Peter are true Aussies, and Phil was born in New Zealand! --- Peter Furler originally wrote the hit worship song "It is You" for another band (Petra), but his wife heard it and made him keep it --- The jacket for Newsboys's latest CD Adoration comes with chords as well as lyrics --- Peter Furler (the bald guy) used to have hair!!! See a picture from the '94 Going Public album!! (or look at the picture of the '92 album. I'm not sure which one's Furler, but they all have hair) --- Peter Furler (him again?!) is one of the original band members (he used to be the drummer...and still does occasionally), and has been with Newsboys for over 15 years! --- Newsboys wrote a book called SHINE! I haven't read it yet, but I hear it's glow in the dark! --- Newsboys recorded a song for the Jonah VeggieTales movie. --- "Belly of the Whale" can be found on the Jonah VeggieTales movie soundtrack, and on the DVD (but the one on the soundtrack is slightly different from the final version on the DVD--and not as good, in my opinion). --- If you watch all the way through the "Belly of the Whale" music video on the Jonah DVD, you'll get to watch a music video for "Million Pieces" from Thrive!

    Just For Fun...
    These guys are referred to as "Newsboys" or "the Newsboys." While all their CD covers since '90 and their website name only say "newsboys," people will often add "the". Either term is fine, but if you want to be politically correct, follow these rules: If you say "Newsboys," you are referring to the band, which is singular. "Newsboys are good" is incorrect. However, if you say "the Newsboys," you are referring to five members, which is plural. "The Newsboys are good" is correct.
