TRUEBLOOD CATUS
It is hard to describe Catus without writing a book. But
here goes- very high prey drive, exceedingly sweet to family and family pets, too smart for a dog, kind hearted, high endurance, very agile, abnormally high
situational awareness, few things escape his attention, quick to alert to the presence of 2-legged territorial
intruders, cautious with strangers, friendly to those have been accepted by his master.
Catus wants to be your right hand man. He is right by your side
no matter what you are doing. He wishes he had opposable thumbs to give you a helping hand. He loves
exercise He is the dog you want with you if you’re hiking or biking in mountain lion territory; they won’t be able to sneak up on you nor would they want
to. Catus is akin to having long-range sensors and a force field all in one lovable portable object.
He
loves being a couch potato. He loves soaking up heat from the fireplace. He likes to lean on you. He likes to place his head in your lap, and somehow he can
make his head weigh 3 tons. He uses his paws like hands. He loves to fetch and retrieve, but bores of it
quickly. He is quick to learn. He loves the shower and bath; he will crawl in with you if you let him.
There is not a vicious bone in his body, but he is
prepared to use every bone in body to protect his family if he needs too. He likes his kittens and
puppies. He does not like four legged intruders. He likes to surf the kitchen counters. He enjoys obedience and clicker training. He likes playing with other
dogs. Playing with Border Collies brings out the best in his abilities. Its amazing watching a him herd a
collie that is trying to herd him. He has the kind of bark that gives evil people pause.
Most of all he loves his family and his mate Ruby Ridge.
