Freddy Krueger was no different than any other child... expect for the fact that he didn't have a father - he had 100, and they were all maniacs in an insane asylum. The men raped his mother, Sister Amanda Krueger, when she was accidentally locked in with them.
Freddy grew up, got married, and had a daughter, Maggie, before he began to kidnap local children and kill them with his home-made scissor hand glove. He was caught, but set free because someone forgot to sign a search warrant in the right place. The parents of Elm Street were outraged, and decided to take matters into their own hands. They killed Freddy by burning him down in a warehouse where he took the kids.
Dream Demons stopped Freddy from going to Hell by putting him into the dream world. He went on to kill the children of his executors - IN THEIR DREAMS!
