Basic Stromboli from Sheila

Ingredients

1 loaf frozen wheat/white bread dough (such as Rhodes)
Danish Ham
Hard Salami
Mozerella cheese slices
Italian herb seasoning, dried
about 2 Tbsp Olive Oil or EVOO
1 egg, beaten
grated Parmesan Cheese
Salt and cracked black pepper

Defrost bread dough per instructions, let rise in a greased bread pan. Knead
and roll out into a rectangle (approx 1/8" thick) on a floured surface.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add a layer of ham, salami, and cheese, about 5 slices of each. Sprinkle with
italian seasonings and drizzle on Olive oil. Salt and pepper if desired.
Roll up the dough tightly in a jelly roll from the longest side. Baste with egg wash
and sprinkle on desired amount of parmesan cheese.
Bake for 30-35 miuntes until golden brown. Let sit 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.

Any kind of sliced meat works with this or stuffings. Those given are from one
recipe. I've used bologna and ham with provolone and american cheese, equally good.
Serves 4 for a meal. Great for parties as an appetiser. You can certainly cut the bread
loaf in half and make 2 types of stromboli rather than one large one.
