So very few times,

When your life has a hole.

Someone comes along,

And touches our soul.

Her spirit so sweet,

Her passions is like fire.

In her eyes I can see,

Fulfillment of  my desires.

As we started our life,

A life of together.

The vision was clear,

Just love one another.

As time marched onward,

It became more distant than near.

Life's tolls to this point,

Would make our dream unclear.

As time slowly unfolded

Each and every single day.

The dream we were chasing,

Became lost in a haze.

As the moment of reality,

Set deep into my mind.

The dream that I lost,

Was clear and defined.

At this moment now,

More than ever I'd know.

The love that I want,

Just wants to let go.

I beg and I plead,

I reason my case.

Away from me soon,

She'll be without haste.

Should our lives move along,

Our paths not again cross,

My life will be different,

Filled with tears from this loss.

At this point in time,

Before all has finished.

But my life has been blemished.
