Summary: Opposites attract. What about destined enemies?
Notes: Set after the first (and hopefuly not the last) season.
When you saw him, you should have either confront him, or left. Not stand there, having extremely lustful thoughts that you shouldn't have been having. He's the reason your sort-of boyfriend is dead, for christsake! Not to mention that he's EVIL. You should have turned and left.
But because you're an idiot, you didn't. You just stood there until he saw you, and went over. To have another debate about the ethics of their job.
He was drunk, his ever glazed over slightly, which surprised you. He was usually in control of everything. So you didn't run. You stayed until you were so angry that if you didn't get the hell out of there, you'd kill him. Then you left.
Why you ended up at Meredith's is beyond you, but you let yourself in using the key she gave you while she was in rehab, and fell asleep.

He must have followed you, when you left, and picked the lock. Because when you wake up, he's there, waiting for you to wake up. And he's sober now.
And he's kissing you, soft, almost caringly. Almost like he has something related to a soul.
And shit, are you in trouble.
Because he knows you want it too.
