| This story takes place in the timeline Mira(Future) Trunks was from. It starts as when Vegeta is battling the androids, #17 amd #18. It's sad you can say.... some parts of the song hears like Show me the meaning of being lonely- Backstreet Boys. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Vegeta was dodging ki blasts from the androids. "DAMN THEM!!!", he yelled in his mind as 5 hit him on the back. He was already losing his ki fast and his saiyan armor seemed to be hanging by a thread. " YOU WORTHLESS SAIYAN!! DIE!!!", #18 laughed while #17 was chasing Vegeta. "BIG BANG ATTACK!!!!!", Vegeta roared through the stiff air. He was just going to release his ki attack until he saw #17 right in frount of him and shot a ki blast in his face, laughing. #17 and #18 were doubling on him and he couldn't stay super saiyan long. He got hit right through a building and his body felt like it was smashed in pieces. Hundreds of ki blasts, he had to dodge but he always got hit. Finally rage builded up in Vegeta and he punched #18 in the face. #18 was furious and said"I want you dead!". Next thing Vegeta knew was that he got hit with 2 huge ki blasts and was on the ground, he had fallen out of Super Saiyan!!! There was no hope for him now... he was going to have to leave his queen, Bulma and his son who couldn't walk yet, Trunks, behind forever.Vegeta was choking up blood as a ki blast engulfed him like a firey flame eagerly awaiting it's prey. Pain shot through his body and tears streamed past his eyes... and he finally saw a blinding white light through the darkness. Back at Capsule Corp.- "Aren't you a cutie huh Trunks?? Yes you are a cute little baby, and I bet you want to go and play with this!I made you a new toy today!!", Bulma said to her happy squealing baby boy, Trunks playing with a sweaky toy that rattled too. Trunks's hand knocked over a picture and it was a pic of Vegeta and her with Trunks in the hospital. "Vegeta... please be ok....", Bulma said with a hint of worry. Kame's house- "DID YOU FIND VEGETA YET??!", Master Roshi yelled to Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha, Chouzu, and Krillen. Kame was extreamly worried, Vegeta was their strongest hope!! Gohan was recovering from a earlier battle so he couldn't fight. With Goku dead, they depended on Vegeta now. Nobody could detect Vegeta's ki and they feared the worst. Bulma had no idea about Vegeta's whereabouts and didn't know that the Z fighters were trying to find Vegeta. After long hours of scearching, Tien saw a body under a building. It was Vegeta... he couldn't miss that wild hair style and flew down and rushed to Vegeta. Tien leaned Vegeta on the side of a building and found that Vegeta was dead, Vegeta was cut, bruised, and in the worst shape possible. Tien called all the others and told them the news. "VEGETA IS DEAD??? ARE YOU SURE!!!!????", Master Roshi yelled as loud as he could to the Z fighters. "We're positive...", Tien responded. "Poor Bulma....", Oolong sighed," same thing happened to Chi Chi." Nobody dared to tell Bulma the news, not now because Bulma was going to get so shocked and beyond sad. " Hello? Chi Chi speaking", as soon as Chi Chi picked up the phone."Chi Chi... there's something you should know... ",Master Roshi said in a quite voice. "What?" "Chi Chi whatever you are doing stop and put it on a table or something....." "Ok", Chi Chi said puzzled. "Vegeta is dead.", Kame said in a sad voice. "VEGETA????!!! OH MY GOD!! He can't be!!", Chi Chi screamed in the once silent air. "Does Bulma know??!!!" "We haven't told her yet.... " "Ok, I'll tell her.....""Sure, just remember she's going to be VERY depressed probably.." "Ok, bye"and Chi Chi hung up the phone. She walked to Bulma's house which was miles away but she didn't mind she was just worrying about how Bulma would take the news. As soon as she walked to Capsule Corp. she was greeted by a very cheerful Bulma. "Bulma... I think you should put Trunks somewhere else, I have to talk to you....", Chi Chi said in a serious voice. "Ok... sure Chi Chi", Bulma said."Bulma... Vegeta is...............DEAD!!!", Chi Chi said crying a little. "Vegeta?! Are you sure?!", Bulma didn't want to believe Vegeta was dead, in fact she couldn't even accept the thought. "I'll show you then", Chi Chi said quietly. Bulma followed into the city where buildings were destroyed and dead bodies could be found. Chi Chi stopped and Bulma saw the bloody body of Vegeta lying on the ground. "VEGETA!!!!", Bulma yelled as she ran to him. She looked closer and found that he was dead for about 3 hours. She was sad but angry at the dead saiyan prince. He had left her and his son! What kind of father was he??! Now his son would grow up fatherless, but Bulma had remembered that he told her before he left that he would protect her and her son. She ran away when she buried him in a secreat spot that they always went to. Many sleepless nights followed, and she found herself unable to eat or sleep sometimes because she was too lonely. The house seemed too empty and when she tried to fill it with furniture.etc it didn't seem to help at all. One day she had a dream, it was Vegeta, he told her that he was sorry and she had to take care of their son. Bulma was shocked thought, Vegeta never said sorry to anyone! But she did promise to him that she would take care of Trunks, but didn't know how he would grow up because he had no father, but Vegeta assured her that Trunks would turn out ALRIGHT. Bulma did keep her promise though, and reminded Trunks of his arrogant jerk of a father every once in a while. In fact, Trunks had trouble saying the work Otosan(Father in Japanese) when he was learning how to talk because it hurt too much. Every kid had a father or knew their father if they died. Trunks on the other hand, barely knew his father. But Gohan told him about his father how his pride was so great. It was this feeling of will power knowing about his father that made him determined to see his father in the past. When he returned to the future, he had a new feeling, knowing about how much his father cared for him and what it was like to have a father once and for all. |
