| Mostly everyone doubted she would win the World Karate Championship, but everyone who was related to her, knew she would kick everyones butt there. Deuio, not knowing she was a saiyan, strongly cheered her on. She practiced with Vegeta mostly because he was more interested in fighting her. Vegeta did tell her a few tips here and there once a while, but then he would tell her the foolish mistakes she made. For instance: Shiroke was going to thow Vegeta over her shoulder until Vegeta kicked her in the stomach, so she learned how to stay low when she was going to throw someone over her shoulder. Day of the Championship- The reporter was telling everybody that there was a female trying out for the championship. Everyone laughed(except people who knew her like Goku, Gohan, Chi Chi, Trunks, Deuio, etc.) thinking she didn't stand a chance. Shiroke was going to have to battle 149 competitors, since she was the newest she battled a black belt from Satan City who was known for kicking people, the bell rang right after she bowed. Going as fast as she could in human speed, she kneed the black belt and tossed him right over her shoulder and kicked him in the stomach. It was too easy for her. Goku cheered her on while holding a box of fried chicken and buttered corn in his hands. Gohan was a bit emarrassed of his dad for once because everyone was staring at Goku and him. So he whispered to his dad to eat at human speed. In 30 minutes, she beat 127 competitors, without breaking sweat. Her competitors weren't so lucky, they were sent to the hospital instantly. The last competitor was.... Mr. Satan. Everyone was cheering him on( except people who knew her) and they booed at Shiroke calling her a "Loser!"and "Wimp!". She ignored their mocks and punched Satan in the stomach with 2 fingers. Mr. Satan was stunned, his stomach was hurting and it was the worse hit he ever had. Then he called her a "Cheater". Mostly everyone agreed, no female or human could do that much damage on the world's champ! It was impossible! Soon, she had rocks, fruit, food, and gum thrown on her. Goku noticed her ki going rocketing up, so he told everyone to duck, and held tight on the fried chicken and buttered corn. Gohan on the other hand was holding onto his mom and Videl. Trunks had to make sure Bulma didn't fly away from a ki blast. Vegeta ducked, making sure his hair wouldn't catch fire or anything. Shiroke was covered with trash and other junk, she couldn't stand it, it took a matter of minutes for people to realize that she was slowly getting angrier. She kicked Mr. Satan and threw him over her shoulder calling him a " IDIOT". It was only 2 minutes for Mr. Satan to realize that Videl knew Shiroke because Gohan's family was friends with Bulma's family. So Mr. Satan gave up, and the trophy was given to her. Shiroke tried to take the gum off her hair but it left a sticky mark on her hair. She had so much gum that it seemed like her hair was made out of gum.She tried everything and even tried blasting her hair. It wouldn't hurt her at all, not even her hair, but the gum still stayed. She tried remedies that Chi Chi told her, but it left her hair looking like a fruity mess. So she walked outside with a cape with the hood over her head, and asked Bulma for help. Bulma had no idea how to get the gum out of Shiroke's hair, she tried putting a chemical in a strand of hair, but the strand of hair turned orange instead. She tried asking Vegeta about saiyan hair and he wasn't suprised the gum never came out. It was stuck on saiyan hair, and saiyan hair could stand freezing and buring hot temperatures so that was why the gum never came out. It was like the gum was protected by her saiyan hair. Videl tried to help, but it was impossible. So Shiroke got her hair cut.... and it made her hair look horrible, it was just more like tufts of hair,and messed up. It was either that or her hair would get shaved. Bulma was going to make a hair growing machine, so it could make Shiroke's hair grow back in about 2 hours. Shiroke went back into her house and sobbed into a pillow. She still had her cape and hood on her head...and Trunks had no idea why she was crying. It was until Shiroke got the courage to take off the hood and told Trunks about the whole gum incident. She was never going to participate in a Karate Championship again... she thought to herself. Shiroke thought Trunks would hate her short hair and maybe marry someone else. She was the ugly duckling, you could say. She refused to go outside, but let Deuio in, Deuio gasped in shock when she saw Shiroke's long hair turn into a short uneven one. Deuio knew about the gum incident... and tried to comfort Shiroke but there was no hope.Shiroke was in a way, depressed. Everyone knew about her short hair in the world, and she saw people peeking through the window. So Shiroke closed the drapes in every room so no light could come out inside. Trunks on the other hand, asked Vegeta what was so depressing about getting her hair cut short, Vegeta told him in a grumpy mood. " Saiyans aren't suppose to cut their hair ever since they were born, except you(Trunks) and Gohan did*hmph*, saiyans think of their hair like pride. Once their hair is cut, it's like their pride, courage, whatever you call it, is cut too. All saiyans know that!", Vegeta snapped at Trunks. "Hair was that important??" , Trunks thought. True, it made them look bad, but it was something they would live with forever. If Vegeta's hair was ever cut, Vegeta would curse and throw a everlasting fit. But Vegeta was full saiyan, so his hair never grew, so that was a good explanation. Shiroke's hair never grew too... but it wasn't because she was a full blooded saiyan, it was because she was a female saiyan. Her hair would probably never grow back. Her chocolate colored hair used to flow with the wind, but now it was like her hair was too short to really flow in the wind. Bulma finally made the machine that would make Shiroke's hair grow back. Hopefully. A tear streaked Shiroke finally appeared.... and put her head inside the machine. "This was ridiculous..... it's like having fake hair in my head", Shiroke thought. Slowly, her hair grew back to orginal length. It was her real hair... somehow Bulma managed to speed up her hair growing process. So she was a bit embarrassed about crying about her hair, but forgot it and sent all the people spying on her in the hospital. She still closed the drapes inspecting her hair making sure it wasn't made out of plastic or anything. But she confirmend that her hair was real because when she did a ki blast, her hair never melted. She flew out the window right after, and Vegeta's eggs and bacon breakfast flew on his face when Shiroke flew out from next door(her house). She didn't know where she was going, she was like a bird, not knowing where she was headed. She brought the dragon ball radar for some reason. She found all the dragon balls using the teleporter in a day, and hid them in a bag. She was going to until she saw Vegeta so she teleported to her room and hid it in the back of her closet. |
