Chapter

"Trunks?"

Trunks sighed. "New technique I learned. An over-image."

"We don't know what you're saying. Are you my brother?" Bra asked incredulously.

"Of course I am, Bra! I'm you're brother!"

"Then who-"

"I am Mirai Trunks," the other one stated calmly.

Everyone's jaw dropped. "Mirai Trunks?"

"Yes."

"Oh, come on... without the over-image, it's easy to tell who your brother is, Bra." Pan said flatly. "Mirai Trunks has lighter hair, and I always thought he had better fashion taste than 'Celira'."

"Hey!" Trunks protested.

"Hm... she's right..." Bra smirked.

Marron was looking at both of the guys. "Wow... Mirai Trunks is cute." she said.

Pan smacked her upside the head. "QUIT THINKING ABOUT THEM WHEN WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO ESCAPE!"

"Ow..."

Bra grinned broadly. "I've already figured that part out, Pan."

Everyone turned to look at her. "WHAT?"

"Well... how about Trunks and Mirai Trunks fuse?" she suggested.

Goten shook his head. "That won't work. Pan said Quinn said he was stronger than a Saiya-jin even in SSJ4, remember?"

Everyone stared at him. "How'd Goten get so smart?" Trunks muttered.

Pan glared at him. "That's your friend you're insulting, baka."

Now everyone turned to look at Pan, clearly stunned. Baka? Since when did Pan call Trunks that?

She looked at Mirai Trunks. "You're smart. Can you figure something out?"

"Hey! I'm smart!" Trunks protested.

She gave him an exasperated look. "Yeah, smart in figuring out whether to sign a paper or not or what turns a girl on. Mirai Trunks, on the other hand, is smart it battle. He doesn't carry a sword for look like you would, either. He actually uses it. So, no, I don't think you're that smart after all. Why don't you use your brains to figure out what turns Marron on instead?" Bra broke out in hysterical laughter after her friend's last comment. Marron and Trunks gave her this, "You-bitch-I'm-going-to-kill-you" look.

"Did I miss something here?" Goten wondered.

"No." Pan answered. "Okay, now. Mirai Trunks, did you have any ideas?"

He shrugged, clearly uncomfortable with what she had just said. "Well, Bra's fusion idea was good, but Goten was right, also. We aren't at a high enough Super Saiya-jin level."

Pan thought for a minute. "Well..." she said slowly. "Trunks and Goten fused as Gotenks can go SSJ3, and you can go Ultra, right? So... maybe you could fuse with Gotenks."

"That would work, except Mirai Trunks would have to have the same power level as Gotenks." Bra pointed out.

She raised an eyebrow. "Who says he isn't? Bra, feel him out, for Kami's sake." She turned to Mirai Trunks. "Raise your power."

Bra's eyes widened slightly, and she shrugged. "Whatever will get us out of here, I'm all for it."

"Get them out now." Quinn ordered. When no one answered him, he turned and saw every other vampire on his ship lying on the floor, dead. "NANI?!" he roared.

"Surprise." a triple-voice said behind him.

Quinn turned and hissed. "YOU! WHO are you?!"

"Mirai Gotenks."

Pan was sneaking around them both, trying to reach her parents. When she got to where her mother was being held, in some kind of glass dome, as all the others were, she reached out, and screamed and an extremely powerful shock shot down her spine.

Quinn smirked. "Did you REALLY think I'd be so careless?" Pan hissed, grabbing a nearby railing for support.

Mirai Gotenks's eyes darkened. He powered up to SSJ3, launched forward, and gave Quinn a sharp uppercut, taking the vampire by surprise.

Quinn stood, blood running down the corner of his mouth. He laughed harshly, and Pan could see blood trickling on his tongue and out his mouth. "Surprise attacks. Hmph. You're no match for me."

He dusted himself off, slid his silver armor off to reveal his pure white suit. Pan watched in half-fascination as his muscles rippled under the tight material. Quinn saw the look on her face and smirked. "Turns you on, doesn't it, babe?" She flushed and looked away, silently scolding herself.

Mirai Gotenks took a position, and Quinn followed suit. Mirai Gotenks swung his leg out and Quinn caught it, twisted, threw him against a wall, and moved his foot back so that it looked as if he had never moved at all.

*He's good,* Pan thought in awe.

Bra was slipping in the shadows, trying to reach the control panel. Marron followed her, cat-quiet. Finally they reached it, and Mirai Gotenks and Quinn continued to battle. Unfortunately, Quinn seemed to be having the upper-hand.

Bra pushed some buttons, and cursed. "These are in Saiya-go; I can't decifer them!" she growled.

Marron's eyes widened in awe. "You mean the vampires know Saiya-go?"

"Probably." Bra replied, pulling something out of her backpack. "If I make a few adjustments on this thing, and put it into this machine, I can decifer the language. Then I can release Tousan and he can help us get out of here."

"And Goku-san," Marron added.

"Hai." Bra picked up the odd-looking contaption and inserted it in a triangle-shaped slot. She pushed some more buttons, and they came up in Japanese. "YES!" she cried. Bra fiddled with it more, and the crackling energy around Vejiita and Goku's domes died down. Pan saw the oppurtunity, and smashed the glass in with her fists. She winced as blood covered her hand, but she ignored it and punched the glass on Goku's dome.

Vejiita looked at Goku, and saw what Goku was silently saying. "Oh, no, we don't!"

"But Vejiita..." Goku pleaded.

"I SWORE I WOULD NEVER DO THAT DAMNED DANCE AGAIN!" Vejiita yelled.

"Think about Bulma... about Bra." Goku begged. "C'mon, Vejiita!"

Vejiita sighed. "Fine," he mumbled. "But I'm going to beat you severely afterwards!"

"Looking forward to it." Goku smiled happily.

"FU-SION HA!"

Quinn cursed. "WHERE DO ALL THESE FUCKING FUSED FREAKS COME FROM?!"

"From hell," Gogeta replied, and slammed an elbow in Quinn's chin. Mirai Gotenks joined in the battle.

"We're going to win!" Marron cheered.

Bra was already messing with the panel again, and the glass dome tops split into six parts and sunk into the floor.

"Pan!" Gohan hugged his daughter tightly, and Videl was fussing over her bleeding hand. Bulma was looking Bra over, hugging her, and saying how she had inherited her mother's genius, causing Bra to laugh. Marron was apologizing for being so difficult, and hugging her parents.

Suddenly there was a loud smashing sound, and the air was rushing out. Quinn was flying through space, and the air in the ship was going with him. Marron screamed, and Mirai Gotenks split back to normal.

Bulma glanced at the control panel, and her eyes widened in shock. 'SELF-DETONATING IN 10 MINUTES'

"There's only one way!" Bra shouted through the screaming and loud wind. "Gogeta has to go out and hurtle us to Chikyu!"

Bulma and ChiChi both glared at Gogeta. "DO IT!"

"Hai, hai..." Gogeta flew out, and stared in shock how big the ship actually was. "Holy..." he muttered. He then went around to the back, gripped a tiny edge of the massive ship, and hurtled it to the nearest planet... Chikyu.

Pan awoke with a sharp pain in her hand. She winced. "So it wasn't a dream..." she mumbled.

"Dream? Honey, you're awake," a soft, sleepy male voice said beside her.

She turned over and hit him lightly on the shoulder. "Be quiet, you'll wake the kids up," she hissed. "And DON'T call me honey."

"Gomen," he smirked. His expression changed when he saw the look on her face. "Pan, what is it?"

She looked in his eyes. "Do you remember the vampires?"

A dark look crossed his face, and he said very softly, "I was hoping I'd erased those memories... was that what you've been dreaming about for the past few days?"

"Hai. Why did you try to hide it from me?" she frowned.

He shut his eyes. "I didn't want you to feel pain..."

She snorted. "I've felt plenty of pain, thank YOU very much."

He grinned.

"Momma?"

Pan looked over and sighed. "Mai, dear, why aren't you asleep?"

Mai wrinkled her little nose. "Keiji's snoring kept me awake... Momma, you had bad dreams?"

Pan smoothed out her daughter's lavender hair. "Sort of, hon." She looked over at Mirai Trunks, and he shrugged.

"Momma, I had a bad dream," Mai snuggled up to her mother.

"Oh? About what?"

Mai shrugged, feeling a little uncomfortable. "Momma, is Grandma Bulma really making a time machine for me and Keiji-niichan?"

Mirai Trunks's eyes widened in shock, and Pan was stunned. "Mai... how...?"

"She has dreams of the future," a sullen voice said in the doorway.

"Keiji, how did YOU wake up?" Mirai Trunks asked his son. Keiji shrugged, brushing lavnder bangs out of his black eyes. "She's my twin; I see her dreams. I felt she was scared, and I woke up."

Pan looked at Mirai Trunks, and he shrugged, also wondering how their children had gotten these strange gifts.

"Momma?" Mai said in a small voice. "Vejiita-jiichan and Goku-jiichan are evil?"

"Jiichan?"

Keiji shook his head. "You can't hide it, we know our grandfathers are the ones who've been killing everyone," he said flatly.

Pan and Mirai Trunks exchanged looks. Mai sniffed, and wrapped her small, chubby arms around her father's neck. "Papa, will you tell me a bed-time story? About Goku-jiichan when he was good?" Mirai Trunks walked out back to the twin's room. Three-year old Keiji climbed into his mother's lap. "Momma, you tell me of Vejiita=jiichan," he demanded. Pan hugged him, and he rested his head on her chest. "Well, Vejiita-sama was very strong, proud, but inside he had feelings. He even helped save us from vampires before."

"How?"

Pan smiled at her son. "Well, it started when a fire burst through my parents's house..."
