TRUTHS

=====================================================================

  Answer to a letter

My heart keeps in its folds,

love sentences, but that give it tortures!

All were said to me by your eyes,

laughing and telling me augural ventures.

I love the supine joy, I love the sweetness.

My reason, however, it places eye-shades

to the ownership of this avid tenderness:

where there are lilies sometimes there are thorns.

My heart in vein the joy desires

and wants to be a happy. It fears, it is afraid —

because tenebrous secrets entered in my mind...

My heart loves the whole joys,

my reason however has its mockeries

and it is frank and is tenacious in pursuing them.
