Brian "Illuzion" Bersamin is a classically-trained pianist turned DJ/producer who has been spinning the wax for 15 years. He was formerly part of the South Side Connection with international recording artist/DJ Roy Davis, Jr. Brian currently pays the bills by working as a graphic designer at WLS-TV in Chicago.	Jon "Jrockelecko" DeFiore is a drummer turned producer/DJ who has been playing and performing music for almost 20 years. Jon currently makes his living as a producer and on-air personality at WCGO-AM in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He has also produced mixes for midday personality Brian Middleton at WBBM-FM in Chicago.

These two musical forces joined after meeting at the Illinois Center for Broadcasting in 1997. They have spent the last seven years honing their craft, defining their sound, and preparing to become dance music's liaison to mainstream American music listeners. While most electronic dance producers remain faceless, Truth Serum fully believes a distinct look and image only adds to the experience of their music. These two have dubbed their style of music "Suburban House;" it's funky and rhythmic, yet remains simple, hook-filled fun. Their aim is to create a brand of music so pleasurable that one can't help but dance.
