09.04.00--   Darlings...I feel your pain.  There is nothing more frustrating than when it's the wee hours of the morning, you have a nine o'clock class, the network is down, and you have a comic to smack up.  I reorganized all of my mp3's (legally gotten, I ASSURE you ;D) into nice neat folders all labeled pretty, I redid my desktop...made new icons...did a new background...made some new sounds, I did HOMEWORK...to no avail, the network stayed down.

How can something which has the capacity to bring so much happiness bring so much god damned pain?

Ah, I still love the network.  Even when it craps in my shoes and chews holes in my pants....

Wait, that's my dog.

But I still love the network.

In other news...here at the good ol' College of William and Mary (or Bill N' the Bitch, as we students refer to it) it has been raining for eight days straight.  Eight days straight.  We're all going to float away if this continues..right down the tidewater flats into the James River and out into the deep blue Atlantic.  While eight days may not sound like a lot to you folk living in relatively
moister areas, let me put it in perspective.  The last time it rained eight days straight while I have been matriculated here was Hurricane Floyd. And we got classes cancelled for that one.  Now we just have to raft to our classes on the raging rivers and shunts that were once scenic brick pathways meandering through wooded glens.  We did the same thing for the hurricane, but there was always that fun element of imminent decapitation by a shingle travelling at 60 mph.  Ah well.  I shall live, albeit a bit more waterlogged than I care to be.
