08.22.00--  Blah blah blah, exploitation of stereotypes, yadda yadda yadda.  In my zeal to smack up a strip for the first time in two weeks last night, one very important detail got lost in the shuffle.  And that is a link.  But not any link.  This link will take you to the site of Brad, web artist (pronounced with that pretentious accent on the end, even) extraordinaire.  I am constantly in awe of the stuff this guy produces.  Go see.  Make me happy.  He's also getting a static link in the ol' linkity page, so you can even GO BACK and check on his work and see how the old bean is doing.  :D

EtherLife is dead.  I'm sure you all knew this already.  And if I catch any one of you giving Zach grief about it...well...I'll waggle my finger in your direction.  Not a very ponderous punishment, I know, but I will (in the words of parents everywhere) be very disappointed.   EtherLife had its run, now we must pave the way for Zach's new strip, Shaw Island.  If you don't know about Shaw Island (the place, not the strip), it's a small, sparsely populated member of the San Juans in Washington state.  Look it up, it's heaven to me.

Speaking of Zach, while my vacation took me Seattle ways, I had the honor of meeting this fine individual and sharing some delightful conversation (and sushi, yum!) with him.  And being in the frozen north, I was also in prime
Penny-Arcade territory.  I did not get a chance to pull on my geek-huntin' boots and trap me a Tycho, however.  Boo.
