Dance The Charleston
The Charleston can be danced solo or with a partner.
During the following steps, the arms should move in opposition to your legs. So when your L foot is back, your L arm is forward, etc. (On odd beats, the arms are by your side.)
1. Step forward with your L foot
2. Kick forward with your R foot (below the knee)
3. Step back with your R foot
4. Step back with your L foot and touch
Repeat above 4 steps
5. Bring L foot even with R foot (spread shoulder width)
6. Put hands on knees and bring knees together
7. As knees come together, switch hands to other knees and open knees
8. Bring knees back together again and switch hands back
