CADETS OBTAIN BOAT LICENCE

On Friday August 29th the Cadets at TS Adelaide were given the opportunity to sit a test in order to gain their Boat Licence.

At the beginning of the night we were shown a PowerPoint presentation to help us prepare ourselves for the test.  We were then given time to study before sitting the test.  We were then given time to study before sitting the test.  After we finished we were given our results and I am proud to say that I passed with 100%.

For people 16 years and over who passed, they can get their boat licence at any time.  For people under 16 who passed, we will have to sit a practical test before we can receive a special permit.   People who hold a special permit automatically receive their boat licence when they turn 16.

I think the night was a major success and I am grateful to have had the opportunity.
