an asian men’s group

Who am I, anyhow?
I was born over 30 years ago in Idaho to academic parents from
mainland China.  I was raised in communities with few Asians (Idaho
and Florida), then came to the Bay Area for college.  I worked for 2
years overseas then came back to get my PhD in Engineering and Public
Policy- I call this grad school for engineering misfits.  I identify
myself as an environmentalist currently working in a biotech firm. 
But I also sing in a choir, am a student of jazz piano and ashtanga
yoga, and enjoy nature and making people laugh.  My life goals
include learning about and promoting group process and organizational
learning, and treading lightly on the Earth.  I've recently sensed the
need for a group for Asian men. I don't purport to have answers to any
of the questions mentioned earlier, but, like anyone, I have opinions
and thoughts about them. I hope to help create a thoughtful,
supportive environment to explore these and related issues.
