Description: ViewRot.bas was designed for highway projects where a roadway is designed in one long strip and then broken into sheets by the use of reference files. ViewRot.bas allows the user to rotate the top view to the rotation of a plan sheet. This is accomplished by setting up the view rotations in a text file named viewrot.txt located in the same directory as the active drawing file.
Instructions: Place a text file named viewrot.txt in the same directory as the active drawing. The format of this file is to place a the rotation angle for sheet 1 on line 1, sheet 2 on line 2, etc. Place the file Viewrot.ba in your macros directory. Execute by typing "macro viewrot #" where # is the sheet number. Last give a data point in the target view.
Example: The following diagram shows three sheets in a view set to top mode. To rotate the view to sheet 2 key-in "macro viewrot 2".
