Fortinet is a leading
network security company based in Sunnyvale , CA . Recently, Fortinet was
elected as one of the top 10 private companies in the networking

Ken founded the company in 2000 and has raised more than $90mm venture funding.
Ken has more than 20 years of technical and management experience in the networking
and security industries. Many of you know that Ken was Founder, President
and CEO of NetScreen which went public and recently acquired by Juniper in
2004 for more than $4 billion. Additionally, he was Managing Partner of Jedi
Venture, Founder, President and CEO of Stanford Infosystems, and Security
Architect for Healtheon (NASDAQ: HLTH) and Philips. Ken was selected as a
Top 15 Technology Innovator in 2004 by Computer Reseller News magazine, and
holds several patents. He is a graduate of Beijing Tsinghua University and
has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Engineering from Tsinghua, and earned
an M.S. degree while completing work towards a doctorate in Electrical Engineering
at Stanford University.
Sathyan Iyengar, President and CEO, Intoto
Intoto is a leading provider of
integrated security, wireless and voice software platforms to networking and
communications Original Equipment Manufacturers
(OEMs). Intotos software solutions are used extensively in many high-volume
and top-tier networking products such as security appliances, broadband gateways,
IADs/integrated communication platforms, routers and edge appliances. Since
founded in 1998, more than one million installations of the Intoto technology
have been implemented worldwide and over 50 percent of consumer networking
gateway OEMs are now integrating Intotos software platforms.
Sathyan Iyengar has more than 14 years of engineering development, business development, sales, marketing and management experience in the networking, embedded systems and computer industry. Prior to founding Intoto in 1998, Mr. Iyengar co-founded Technology Rendezvous, Inc., a software consulting and service company focused on the embedded networking industry. He has held numerous management positions at Oracle, Consilium, HCL-HP, and the ISRO Satellite Center. Mr. Iyengar holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India, and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the SJ College of Engineering, Mysore, India.
Dr. Fengmin Gong, Chief Scientist, McAfee
Dr. Fengmin Gong is the Chief Scientist for the McAfee Network Security Technologies
Group, where he is responsible for driving the continued innovation of IntruShield.s
security architecture leveraging his expertise in areas such as signature,
anomaly, and denial of service detection. Before to his work on IntruShield,
Dr. Gong was Director of Advanced Networking Research at MCNC, a provider of
sophisticated electronic and information technologies and services aimed at
businesses and government agencies.
While at MCNC and earlier at Washington University, he was involved in advanced security and networking projects for agencies such as DARPA, NSA, NSF, NLM, and NASA. During his time at MCNC he was also Adjunct Assistant Professor of Computer Science at North Carolina State University.
In a distinguished academic and research career, Dr. Gong has written and contributed to nearly forty research papers on network intrusion, anomaly detection, secure collaboration, multi-media content delivery, and network quality of service. Dr. Gong has presented his research at industry events such as IEEE technical forums, as well as SIGGRAPH, DISCEX, NOMS, and ISCEX.
