And now for a rare treat. Part of my archive material on Steve McQueen includes a 4 page typed letter from William F. Nolan to Tom Congdon and Marilee Talman of Congdon and Weed who published Bill's book "McQueen". This letter is of particular interest due to the fact that Mr. Nolan in expert fashion delves into his odd association with Steve McQueen so that the publishers could better understand the fragmented relationship they had with each other and Steve's difficulty in opening up to Bill. |
