Bare Facts: Unknown ~ Born 2006 ~ Mother Quadra ~ Father Unknown ~ Children None ~ ID Thin dorsal, light curve

C27 was first seen in 2006. The little calf was mom Quadra's first baby, and joined quite a big family. When C27 was born, the family consisted of great-grandma Ivory, grandmother Lama, great-uncles Hunter and Squally, and aunts/uncles Kisameet, Virago, Diver and Ta-aack. Ta-aack was only few years older than C27, providing a playmate.
Sadly, not long after C27's birth, Quadra was killed by unknown causes. Her body was found in July. At first, C27's fate was uncertain, but the next time the family was seen, C27 was tucked next to grandmother Lama.
Now, C27 seems to be doing well despite the loss of mom. The calf's gender is still not known.
