Ceremony:
The ceremony will start PROMPTLY at 2:30 pm. Unless of course the bride is late (hee hee). Please take your seats no later than 2:20 so that all ushers can be ready.

Programs will be handed out at the door.

There is no throwing of rice, petals or blowing of bubbles. We are working on some sort of alternative. ;)

***We ask that all guests remain at the front entrance of the church following the ceremony for a large group photograph.***

In Between:
Following the group photograph the bride and groom, along with the rest of the wedding party will remain at the church for formal photographs. Shortly following, the group will travel to Cantigny Park for more photos. All other guests are welcome to enter the park, however, please note there is an entrance fee. Only the bridal party will be paid for. Area Attractions will be listed in the program.

The Reception:
The Abbington is located at the corner of Route 53 and Butterfield Road. Also at the corner, and very visible is a BP gas station and McDonald's. Should you care to commemorate the occassion with a tattoo, a tattoo parlor is nearby! ;)

To find your seats, please look for your name at the placecard table in the lobby, next to the ballroom doors. Also, take the time to jot down any tips, advice or well wishes to the new couple at the "Wishing Bowl", also located at the placecard table.

There is absolutely no smoking in the North Ballroom.

An open bar will be provided during the cocktail hour and following dinner. The catering manager on staff for the evening will be more than willing to obtain transportation for anyone in need at the end of the evening. Those guests (and we don't expect any) who over-indulge themselves and become out of control will be asked to leave the reception. Cheers!

A DJ will be providing entertainment, and if you know us at all, you'll have your fro fluffed and your boogie shoes shined! Later in the evening, we'll be groovin' to sounds from the 70's and 80's!
