BACKGROUND: Years ago all four branches of the United States military engaged in separate armored trooper programs.  Each one was vaguely aware of the others, but due to departmental competition they refused to collaborate.  The result was that no successful armored program had been developed.
    Except for one.
    Kevin Gilham had been a maverick in the field of engineering, and he would have finished his armor for the Marines if they had only given him another twenty million dollars.  Unfortunately for him budget cuts in the military meant either closing down another military base or telling him to take a hike, and the Senator whose constituency relied on that base for income didn't know Kevin at all.  Cameron felt betrayed, he wanted to steal his work but he was not able to get the armor himself.  A friend of his in the FBI told him of a new crime lord gaining prominence in Chicago, The Albino.  Kevin approached her  with an offer; help him steal the suit and he would pay her back ten times what the suit was worth in work.  The Albino liked his enterprising spirit and knew that he would make a lethal addition to her newly-formed crew.  She had the suit stolen, and Flying Fortress joined her team.
    Kevin was smart, but he was also a little naïve if he thought The Albino would let him go.  Over the years she secretly searched for a replacement.  When one was found (his primary attribute was his loyalty to her), and when she was able to gather a team of technicians to take over the suit’s maintenance, poor Kevin went to sleep one evening and did not wake up.  Cameron Schwartz donned the armor and Flying Fortress II was born.
    Cameron was slain during the EDI.

POWERS: Cameron Schwartz has no powers, but the Flying Fortress battle armor provides him with awesome strength and firepower.  The suit can achieve mach flight speeds, is resistant to all forms of conventional firepower, gives him tremendous superhuman strength, and has an arsenal of missiles.  A full sensor suite completes the package.

PERSONALITY:  Flying Fortress is merely a soldier in The Albino’s army, his loyalty stems from a healthy dose of fear and respect for his employer.  In battle he is completely ruthless and will not hesitate to kill anyone, even members of law enforcement.  In his spare time he watches women’s curling and secretly collects trolls.

APPEARANCE: Cameron is a large, tough man who moves with surprising speed for one his size.  He has harsh, brutal features and wears his black hair in a crew cut.  The Flying Fortress Armor is colored olive green almost all over except the abdomen and chest, which are light blue (FF sometimes coats the armor with a black sheath when on particularly stealthy missions).  Missile racks cover the forearms while a large bulky jet-pack and short wings are mounted on the back.
