BACKGROUND: Christina was an old-fashioned house wife living in middle class suburbia when exposure to chemically poisoned well water activated her mutant gene.  The same gene gave her chiled Leukemia and he died from it.  The local chemical plant was nailed with a class action suit but that did not bring her child back.  Her husband irrationally blamed her, or he needed a tangible target for his grief, and he divorced her.  Christina had not appreciable skills and her now ex-husband had skipped the country and denied her any alimony.  Approaching destitution, she did the only thing she felt she could and turned to crime by using her powers.

Her first outing was nearly her last.  She ran afoul of another paranormal and the two almost came to blows when they realized they were both robbing the same bank.  The two called a quick truce, ran off with the loot, and split things fifty-fifty.  The other crook turned out to be Amp.  He proposed a partnership, and Christina agreed.

Over the next year or so the two of them pulled some successful crimes and were able to fight off or flee several super heroes.  Then they heard about a young woman with sonic powers.  They approached her and the three became a very effective super villain team.  The problem is they also became a high-profile super villain team.  They attracted the attention of a high profile super hero team and were taken down.

Christina has been in and out of The Hole on several occasions, hopefully she will serve out her current sentence in peace.

POWERS:  Christina can generate large amounts of heat and direct them as bursts of energy.  She has refined this ability to a great degree and can create large bolts that can engulf a car or tiny needle points that can weld steel or melt through the hinges of a vault.  She is also able to create “instant updrafts” that allow her to leap for great distances.  She has no appreciable defense so she always wears a bullet proof vest and has learned how to dodge and snipe.

PERSONALITY: Christina is a nice person who has gotten bitter about a lot of things.  She is bitter that her husband got her pregnant when she was sixteen then abandoned her when she needed his support the most.  She is bitter at herself for being stupid enough to believe that he would have stayed with her, and she is bitter that she is caught in a ridiculous cycle of crime and punishment.  Once you get past her bitterness, however, one can see she is not evil, and in fact can be almost pleasant.

APPEARANCE: Christina stands five foot seven.  She has short brown hair she now dies red, and brown eyes and is closer to cute than beautiful.  Ever since she became a “super villain” she has worked out so now she had a very well defined build.  As Flashpoint she wears functional clothing and always wears a bullet proof vest under them.
