The Cosmic Knights are a freelance group of pilot mercenaries.  Their number consist of disgraced pilots looking for redemption, young adventurers seeking fame, or the greedy out for a fast cred.

The Cosmic Knights are led by Cais Murro, a veteran pilot who has seen well over a hundred campaigns.  His true name is not known and his origins are shrouded in mystery, but what is known about him is his tactical acumen and his unflinching loyalty to his pilots.  His most loyal lieutenants are the mysterious Pilot Xy, Princess in exile Ara Charas Chem, and Rhey Shamom.

The Cosmic Knights number roughly fifty pilots flying fighters of various models from a dozen worlds as well as support staff.  They also have several carrier ships.
