Houston, TX.-Michael Sneed had his second straight strong outing, scoring 18 points and grabbing eight rebounds to lead Texas Southern (3-11, 3-3) to a 74-60 victory against the University of Arkansas at Pine-Bluff, Monday, January 21 in the H&PE Arena.
The win was the second straight conference win for TSU. UAPB (0-17, 0-6) remained winless on the season.
Jamaal Clark posted a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds and Stephen Hoyer added 17 points, seven assists and four steals.
Billy Hall and Kory McKee came off the bench to lead UAPB with 15 points apiece. TSU outshot the Golden Lions 46% to 38% and outrebounded UAPB 46-30.
The Tigers return to action, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, January 26, against Alabama State in Montgomery, Alabama.
