Returned to Tokyo after six years, and after his mother's death. He found out that he has to decide the fate of the world. Kamui can either become a Ten no Ryu or a Chi no Ryu. He becomes a Ten no Ryu (the side which protects the world and the Kekkai) and his friend Fuuma becomes a Chi no Ryu (the side which destroys the Kekkai and destroys the world. Kamui is then faced with a choice, kill Fuuma to save the world or not fight at all and let the world be destroyed. Kamui later meets Subaru which changes his attitude and grows to have feelings for his elder friend.
He was told by the "Old Stargazer" on Mt. Koya that he should become friend's with the "Kamui" on the Ten no Ryu and protect him. The Stargazer also told him that one day he will fall in love with a woman and that he will die for that one woman. Well, later on he meets Arashi and chooses her, the one he will protect with his life. He tells her this when they are watching Kamui. Sorata slowly finds out about her feelings toward him, but he is pretty slow at finding things out.
Not much is known about Arashi before her appearance in X, but she was first seen with Saiki when they were watching Kamui kill those guys in the suits. Later on she begins to have feelings for Sorata but never shows it. She tries to act serious and calm but inside she is a kind and gentle person. Arashi tries to admit how she feels about Sorata but for some reason she just can't. Even though once in a while she hurts him for doing something, sometimes she just lets him do it. Yuzuriha later finds out that Arashi does love Sorata and that's when she shows he true feelings toward her idiotic comrade.
Yuzuriha has a spirit dog named "Inuki" which means puppy. The only ones who can see Inuki are the ones involved with the end of the world. When she meets Kusanagi, she immeadiately falls in love with him since he can see Inuki. Yuzuriha usually is the one to help cheer anyone up. Everyone even Kamui watches out for her because she's the youngest and they want her to stay alive thats why they take care of her. Yuzuriha always wants to help her fellow friends when they're in trouble but sometimes they don't cause they don't want her to get hurt. She also cares about Kamui because he always helps her out.
Aoki works at ASUKA magazine and has a wife and daughter to look out for. He fights to protect Japan and the world because he doesn't want his family to die or live in a destroyed world. Aoki first meets Arashi on the street, and then shows that he has the power of wind and that he is a Ten no Ryu because he is in her kekkai. Later on you see him hanging out with Karen and the others. Aoki is kind of like a father to Yuzuriha because he takes care of her and comforts her. Like after Fuuma killed Kotori and Kamui was catatonic. He always is cheerful except when it comes to fighting when he becomes serious.
Karen works at a hot bath for men, that's why you see her wearing those clothes. Karen is first seen after Kamui's Aunt Tokiko's house is burning (which was caused by her) Later on she appears in the tree while Sorata and Arashi are watching over Kamui and she tells them her name and that she is a Ten no Ryu. She then hangs around with Aoki and the othes. Karen watches out for Yuzuriha like Aoki for the same reasons and also is kind of like a motherly figure to Kamui. Later, when she fights Nataku and she beats him, his hurt look reminds her of when she was young. Karen is a strong fighter and never gives up.
Subaru is from Tokyo Babylon, along with Seishirou. Subaru is the cold and silent one of the Ten no Ryu. Subaru doesn't fight Seishirou to avenge his sister's death but to die by the hand of his one and only love, Seishirou. Subaru gets along with his comrades, especially Kamui, because he understands how Kamui feels about losing a loved one. Subaru still loves Seishirou even after what happened to his sister. Subaru fights to become stronger so he is worth being killed by Seishirou and so he won't be spared again. Even though he won't tell anyone about his true wish, which only Fuuma knows, he keeps on giving clues as to what it is. Subaru is a lot stronger than he looks, in other words he and Seishirou are stronger than Fuuma and Kamui combined. Subaru always hold back on his power for some reason, he never really uses his power to its full potential. If he didn't hold back he could easily defeat anyone who fights him.
Fuuma is/was Kamui's childhood friend. Fuuma met Kamui again after six years because he had left after the death of his mother. Fuuma promised to protect Kamui if he protected Kotori and he did. Fuuma didn't know that he was to become a Dragon of Earth since Kamui was going to be a Dragon of Heaven. He had be possessed a few times and was trying to tell Kamui that he was his "Twin Star". After Kamui decided to be a Dragon of Heaven Fuuma immediately became a Dragon of Earth. From then on Kamui and fuuma became enemies and were destined to fight each other no matter hat got in between them.
Yuto is the kind of guy who is always happy and never really gets into a fight. When ever he fights against someone (i.e. Sorata & Karen) he fights with a smile. He even sometimes jokes around with his opponent. Yuto doesn't really get along with the "evil" Fuuma that well because Fuuma kind of just ignores him. Yuto is in a realationship (not really) with Satsuki. Yuto always or usually stays near Kanoe, he's kind of like a bodyguard for her. He really doesn't seem like a bad guy because of his cool attitude and way if acting. He also doesn't use his power of water that much either when he fights. Actually, he doesn't fight that much at all anyways.
Satsuki is known as the "ULTIMATE CYBER-GIRL" because of her compatability with BEAST. By using BEAST she can get info on and personin all of Japan and whatever else she wants. She can also use BEAST to attack people with the elctrical wires that are in the ground or where ever. Satsuki has "loves" Yuto, and BEAST gets jealous of it because it is in love with her. She mainly uses her BEAST to get info on the Ten No Ryu and places(i.e. where the next "kekkai" is) Even though it may looks like it hurts to have wires go into your skin it really doesn't hurt her at all.
Kusanagi can feel or sense how the plants and animals are feeling. He sayas he can tell how they are feeling about what is being done on the earth and that it is hurting them. Kusanagi is a nice guy and he is usually found with stray animals, mostly cats. He meets a young girl named Yuzuriha and her spirit dog Inuki. Both become good friends and it doesn't matter that both are ne opposite sides. Kusanagi takes care of Yuzuriha and is always worried about her whenever she runs offf to fight or whatever. Kusanagi isn't a real serious figher because he's too nice.
Nataku is neither male or female, so Nataku is an "it". Nataku is supposed to be the reincarnation of a six year old girl named Kazuki. Nataku has the little girl's memories, and because of that Nataku thinks Fuuma is its father. Nataku's wish to be called "Kazuki" and to have its father s granted by Fuuma. Nataku does whatever it can for Fuuma no matter what, like destroying certain things. Fuuma orders Nataku around but it doesn't mind, Nataku will do anything for him. Nataku and Fuuma have kinda like a Father-Son relationship, because of how they act around each other. Nataku is emotionless and can't dream but it always has dreams or thinks about what the memories it has and keeps remembering.
Kakyou is the only Dreamgazer who knows the outcome of the battle between the Ten no Ryu and the Chi no Ryu. Even though he knows the outcome he cannot change it, all he can do is sit on the side and watch. Kakyou always help out Kamui by talking to him through his dreams about his "wish" and some other things. Kakyou is/was in love with Subaru's sister Hokuto and saw her once in his dreamscape. He still mourns over her death but there is nothing he can do. Kakyou "likes" Fuuma as a friend because he always helps him when he needs it.
Seishirou is the last Sakurazukamori, since he had killed his mother to take the place as the head. Being the Sakurazukamori means that he has to kill people and send them to the Sakurazuka, or the sakura tree. Seishirou isn't really a nice guy, he is usually always serious and never plays around when he fights. Inside Seishirou loves Subaru but never has the guts to tell him. Seishirou always acts cold to him and gives no clue to how he feels towards his younger opposer. He enjoys playing with his so-called play thing just to be near him. Seishirou always tries to push Subaru to his limit but Subaru seems to hold back as if he didn't want to hurt Seishirou. He also gets along with one other person, Fuuma. Strangely enough he and Fuuma get along quite well as if they are good friends, sharing common interests both doing the same, killing the loved one of their younger friend/enemy. Seishirou doesn't really try to hurt Subaru in any way because he cares for him and does not want to accidentaly "kill" him. He seems cold-hearted at times but he is not such a bad person inside, if he were a real "evil" person he wouldn't love anyone.
