Belgian Occupied Countries.

 

Belgium had just two colonies in Africa, but they were large ones.

The biggest colony was called Belgian Congo, which was later renamed Zaire and resently Congo again. A region of Belgian Congo separated itself into Katanga. The other Belgian colony consisted of the much smaller Ruanda and Urundi which later became the independent republics of Rwanda and Burundi.
