TTG is northern Alabama's hottest IDPA club. We welcome new shooters and visitors to our matches, held several times a month at locations in and around Huntsville, AL. Please email us for more information on matches and locations.

| What's the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) all about? |
Defensive pistol shooting as a sport is quite simply the use of practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios. Shooters competing in Defensive Pistol events are required to use practical handguns and holsters that are truly suitable for self-defense use. No "competition only" equipment is permitted in Defensive Pistol matches since the main goal is to test the skill and ability of an individual, not his or her equipment or gamesmanship.

| What kind of training does the TTG offer ? |
Actually, we don't offer any training but will gladly refer you for training to one of many fine local or national schools.
We offer a safe, controlled shooting environment, empathy for really bad scores, and as much on-the-spot advice as you need to shoot safely. If you can't handle peer pressure or don't take hints well, our style of shooting is not for you.
If you have no experience in defensive-style tactical shooting, we welcome you to come out and try shooting a match with us. After all, everyone was a novice at one time.
