This is what the picture looks like straight out of the camera. The photos above this one were processed in photoshop (described below).
These photos were taken using a Canon Digital Rebel using an infrared filter. The images were then processed in Photoshop using "auto levels" and "auto color" reduced to 400 or 500 px wide, "unsharp mask".
Tips for good infrared photography
- Long exposure
Most of these images had 2 to 6 seconds. - Sunlight
Pictures taken in direct sunlight work best. - Tripod
Absolutely necessary unless you want blurry pics.
